Get to Know Us
The Junior Service League of Grand Junction was founded in 1983 by a group of women dedicated to strengthening their community through volunteer service and fundraising.
Over more than four decades, JSL members have awarded over $1 million in grants to local nonprofits and contributed tens of thousands of volunteer hours supporting organizations that serve women, children, and families in Mesa County.
Signature events such as Viva el Vino have become community traditions, raising critical funds while bringing people together. Through thoughtful grantmaking and hands-on service, the League has helped address needs in education, health, housing, and family support.
Today, JSL continues its founding mission—empowering women to lead, expand their circles, and create lasting positive change. Strong women. Stronger community.
