Phenominal Woman of the Month
   
 

The Junior Service League of Grand Junction believes that people working together can make a difference in the lives of others and in our community as a whole. As an organization for women, we want to honor women who work hard to make our community better.

The Junior Service League of Grand Junction is entering its 25th year of service in the Grand Valley. As part of this special year, the group will honor women in the Grand Valley who make a difference in our community with the newly created Phenomenal Woman of the Month award.

Anyone can nominate a woman who makes a difference. Simply fill out the nomination form and send it in to the address listed on the form.

The Grand Junction Junior Service League's Phenomenal Woman of the Month is an award designed to honor women who make a difference in our community by diligently working to benefit Mesa County children, families, women, senior citizens, arts, recreation, education, and/or health. Nominees for the Phenomenal Woman of the Month should strive toward making a difference either through their current job and/or as a volunteer primarily serving local residents. The nominee must volunteer for a Mesa County nonprofit organization or service club, but cannot be a current member of Junior Service League.

The Grand Junction Junior Service League's Phenomenal Woman of the Month award will be awarded monthly during scheduled general meetings. The recipient of the award, along with a guest will be guests at the monthly Junior Service League dinner where they will receive their award.
