JSL is the sole operator
of this website. This is an information and participation website,
and we also offer a small number of products and services for sale.
Website users have different amounts of information about them that
is captured, depending upon the user's level of engagement. In no
case, is personal information captured from the user without his
or her consent and participation.
JSL provides
free information to the public (i.e. " visitors" ), additional
free information to those who request it (i.e. " prospects"
), and products and/or services to those who purchase them (i.e.
"customers").
Visitors
Our server recognizes a visitor's IP address, but no information
is captured from visitors to this website. Any visitor who opens
another website using a link on our website, may be identified by
that website as a referral from ours. The capturing and guarding
of information on the second website would be governed by their
privacy policy.
Prospects
A visitor's name and e-mail address is collected when a visitor
chooses to subscribe to free information. The name and e-mail address
is retained either by JSL or a contract service. The information
requested by the prospect is sent to the e-mail address provided
by the prospect. Notices of additional services and products may
be sent periodically via e-mail. The prospect is informed how to
discontinue mailings with each new mailing. If the prospect requests
that mailings be discontinued, their name and e-mail address is
automatically deleted from the database. This information is never
shared with any other operator, company, individual or marketing
firm, except as may be required by law, nor do we allow our contract
services to disclose personal information.
Customers
When a website user purchases a service or a product from JSL, they
are requested to provide essential information to complete the transaction.
This information is transferred to online financial services using
industry-standard encryption technologies. When a purchase is presented
to us in writing, the data is entered into our order database and
online payment forms. The paper form is then altered to make the
financial information unreadable, and filed in a secure facility.
Order information includes:
full name, billing address, shipping address, telephone number and
e-mail address. Payment information includes credit card information.
The order information is retained by JSL or a contract service.
The payment information is retained in a secure format, preventing
unauthorized access and use.
Notices of additional
services and products may be sent periodically via e-mail. The customer
is informed how to discontinue mailings with each new mailing. If
the customer requests that mailings be discontinued, their order
information is retained, but they are removed from the mailing list.
JSL does not share customer information with any other operator,
company, individual or marketing firm, except as may be required
by law, nor do we allow our contract services to disclose customer
information.
Removal from Mailing
List
Any Prospect or Customer may be removed from all future mailings
by sending an e-mail to the address shown at the top of this page.
JSL does not share any personal information about anyone in any
of these categories, active or inactive, with any other operator,
company, individual or marketing firm, except as may be required
by law, nor do we allow our contract services to disclose personal
information.
