Briefing
Junior Service league (JSL) of Grand Junction is a service club created in 1983. JSL is an organization of women committed to working together to improve the community through effective volunteerism and fundraising.
JSL members raise money through events, such as Viva el Vino as Walk 4 life, and the sale of its two cookbooks, West of the Rockies and Celebrate Colorado. The money raised is donated back into our community through grants awarded annually and to our two local hospitals for mammography screening. In 25 years, JSL has awarded more than $600,000 in grants. In the past seven years, we have provided more than 10,000 hours of community service.
